We at Fairhope Juice Co are passionate about the juicing lifestyle and being as pure to that tradition as possible. Juice that is raw, clean, uses organic produce, and cold pressed (served in glass) is absolutely the most nutrient dense. We use only organic fruit and vegetable ingredients, keeping the chemical pesticides that are sprayed on non-organic produce completely out of the process. If we can’t find organic produce, we won’t use it to make our juice. It all comes down to our motto, Quality Over Compromise.

Our beautiful glass bottles are not simply for aesthetic appeal. I am passionate about our environment and the desire to reduce our carbon footprint wherever possible. We limit the amount of plastic packaging because we know where it ends up—in the landfill, polluting our bay, and plastic endangers our wildlife along the Gulf Coast. By using glass bottles instead of plastic for Fairhope Juice Company juices, we also avoid the chemicals BPA and BPS, which exhibit hormone-like properties that are known to cause long-term damage to our health. The simple fact is juice just tastes better when it’s in glass!
Fairhope Juice Co. hand-crafts juice using Goodnature’s X-1 Mini, a powerhouse commercial cold press juicer that doesn’t use heat when pressing fresh fruit and vegetables, thus maintaining the crucial enzymes and nutrients that make the juice a potent food healing supplement to your diet. True, raw, cold pressed juice has a maximum shelf date of 7 days. We put our “drink by” date at 4 days for flavor and for safety.

Pasteurization heats juice (ugh!) and the alternative treatment of juice called HPP (High Pressure Pasteurization)- bottling in plastic and putting under extreme pressure is said to maintain nutrition and shelf life up to 45 days. This also allows the juice to be sold at wholesale and why it is more widely available. (Think SUJA and Naked Juice brands. ) However, the extension of shelf life beyond four days drastically reduces the nutritional value of the juice as many nutrients are not stable. Antioxidant, enzyme and vitamin content degrade as juice is allowed to sit.
That being said, we also believe in meeting people where they are in their health journey. If the availability of raw juice isn’t possible, these juices are an option that is beyond better than sugar and chemical laden soft drinks! Education is power and our food system in the US doesn’t make it easy to understand what is healthy and what is not. To us, eating as close to nature, avoiding preservatives and fillers are what promotes true health and wellness. Our juices are created with the utmost attention to the handling of our organic produce. All produce is cleaned and inspected, prior to pressing.
